I AM hopeful and I DO believe that Obama's plans are better than McCain's suggestions (hence the vote for same).<BR/><BR/>Six points is large in the context of the last two decades of votes, but there are almost half of the people who went the other way. <BR/><BR/>So, I was bringing up a downer note of caution, motivated by the very real happiness and hope that I felt on Election Night but tempered by the idea that as powerful as Obama can (may?) be, he is still one man working within a system.<BR/><BR/>He MIGHT be able to shape that system in dramatic ways, but that is ahead.
